Frequently Asked Questions

No account is necessary to browse the site listings. If you wish to track your favorite photographers and events, you will need to register for a free account in order to do so. Photographers must create an account to add listings to the site. 

Photographers in this directory must be based in the United States and must actively provide photography services. Listings must comply with our Terms of Use

Photographers may add their business to the directory by clicking here or the Add a Photographer Listing button on the homepage. 

We offer a free photographer listing for those who wish to just post their basic information in the directory. We also offer an affordable premium annual listing that includes additional features such as a sample photo gallery and social media links. 

Photographers who have an approved photographer listing will be able to add event listings to the site. Event listings are added through a link on the main menu that becomes accessible after a photographer listing has been approved. 

At this time, all listings (photographer and event) require administrative approval before they are posted. Please allow 24-48 hours for listings to become active on the site if they are approved. Any orders for paid listings that are not approved will be cancelled after review. We do not check listings for accuracy, but we do look for spam postings or inappropriate/obscene content and will remove/deny as necessary per our Terms of Use

You must have an approved photographer listing on the site before you will have access to add events/session advertisements. If you have not yet listed your photography business, please do so here. If you do have an active photographer listing and still cannot see the link, please e-mail us at admin@isophotographer.com so we can check your website security settings. 

Please make sure to upload images that that are at least 1980 x 1042 pixels for the cover photo. You may need to crop your photo prior to uploading if there is a specific section you want displayed, as it will center in the cover photo section when loaded. 

Individual photos must be under 2MB in size to upload onto our site. Please double check the file size of your photo if it just spins and will not upload onto your listing. 

You can choose to promote any of your listings by clicking on the "Promotions" link in the user menu at the top right. Listings can be promoted for seven (7) days at a time for a nominal fee. Promotions are tied to listings and will expire when the associated listing expires if earlier than seven (7) days. Promoted listings are displayed ahead of featured and regular listings in applicable search screens. 

When your listing expires, it will become inactive on the website. You will need to purchase a new listing package if you wish for it to be active again. 

At this time, our site serves as a listing directory for potential customers to locate a photographer for their needs. Customers will have access to photographer contact information and can reach out to them directly regarding session availability. This site does not currently facilitate any booking services.
